Typical web analytic tools limit the evaluation of the usability and user experience to conversion measurements and number of events or actions undertaken per user. They give you clues that may help you determine whether your site is good or bad, but they will rarely answer the questions why.
As the experience on Adobe Flash websites is more complex then on the HTML ones, you need more sophisticated tools to get more in-depth view on what is actually happening once a visitor hits your site.
Use it Better™ is a about recording real visits and not about visualising plain statistical data. This translates to an ability to access and replay any visit to your website. Use it Better™ provides powerful filtering tools that enable you to narrow your analysis to the visits involving certain user actions and find out what actually happened during the visit.
The Use it Better™ filtering criteria include the visit information (time, length, referrer…), user’s data (browser, flashplayer, resolution, user visits …) as well as Adobe Flash events (mouse or keyboard events…), meta events (frame rate, sections, actions) and your custom messages (you can send any information you want).
You can apply all the available filters in any combination to single out specific sessions and calculate statistics for them. Filter sets are grouped in a tree structure, which facilitates the construction of very complex queries and makes it possible to view reports (sessions and statistics ) for each branch. In the “View sessions” mode you can access a list of sessions matching your filtering criteria and drill down to the details of a selected session.
Besides creating your own filter sets, you can use several presets focusing on popular actions (user visits…). Every filtering you perform is saved for future use. A seperate list gives you an access to recent filter sets.
